This snack was born from a great need for a snack – I had no crackers or chips, no pretzels, no peanut butter, nothing snack-worthy. However, there was a can of garbanzo beans in my cupboard, not exactly something I reach for when I want a snack, but it’s all I had to work with…now I buy garbanzo beans precisely with snacking in mind.
You can whip this up in just a few minutes and bake for 30-40 and you can start your snacking frenzy ASAP.
Ingredients
- 1 15oz can Garbanzo Beans - drained and rinsed
- 1/2 - 3/4 Tbsp Canola Oil
- Pinch of Salt
- Pinch of Black Pepper
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes - depending on how crispy you like them.
- Stir garbanzo beans half way through baking.
- Remove from the oven and let cool.
- Serve in a snacking dish.
These are really yummy and packed with fiber and iron. Snack away!
