to San Francisco, California. Nope, I can’t believe it ither! It was early this year when I named my blog and began writing; I had no idea Colorado Vegan would find herself in California (and California Vegan is already taken).
It was last Thursday afternoon when my husband got the job offer and we decided to accept. I’m excited, nervous, scared, stressed, nervous, and excited. I also find myself walking around the house staring at things and wondering what I should be doing: packing, throwing things away, sorting, organizing, cleaning, or something that I have yet to think of. If you know what I should be doing, please let me know!
I’d not been to San Francisco, ever, until this week. I’ve been to Los Angeles twice, but that doesn’t come close to counting. I’ve read about San Francisco a lot and have envied the vegan restaurants and shops they have, but I also liked being a part of the up-and-coming state of Denver’s vegan culture.
We plan to visit the city between now and December and move out there the second week of December. Yes, Holy Crap!
I’ve been debating what to do with this blog. I love sharing my recipes and thoughts here with you and also hearing yours, but in the 2 weeks before the move I may not have much time to dedicate to writing – and in the following 6 weeks I may be pretty busy unpacking and reorienting my life in a new state. I could make the blog about a Colorado vegan making a move across the country. I could also later change the blog name to something less geographically rooted (in case we move again!). Or?
What do you think? Please, please, please – I want feedback. I want my readers to have a vote.
Most Sincerely,
Christine
